Lean Product Development can significantly improve productivity

Top performers have five times more productivity 1
stage-gate: lean product development Do you have an idea-to-launch process in place?
Would you like to overhaul and streamline your process in order to ..
.. substantially increase your development productivity?

You can increase productivity in two ways

Use the seven Lean principles to boost productivity 2
1) Focusing on the customer and superior customer value
2) Front-end loading the development process
3) Development in spiral
4) A holistic approach and empowered teams
5) Focusing: effective portfolio management
6) Ongoing measurement and learning (Kaizen)
7) NexGen Stage-Gate®: (a flexible, scalable process)
Focus on productivity, not just speed and low cost!

Implement Lean product development in a three-step process!

1) Analysis
Review of current processes
A fact-based description of the workable areas or projects and a plan for the changes and the process along with clear result targets. Management workshop value stream analysis, Lean test and cause and effect analysis.

2) Upgrade
Process optimisation and test projects.
Upgrade the development process to NexGenTM Stage-Gate, establish portfolio management, implement best practice tool kits (e.g., score card, metrics, templates for stages and gates etc.) One or more groups implement the changes, test them in a few projects and document the methods and results.

3) Implementation
in the whole company
Implement the changes accross all projects, generate visible results in the planned areas and measure them continually. caried out by one or more task forces and overlooked by senior management group.

Lean Product Development is the latest tool.

Do you know its potential and pitfalls? If not, you should attend this seminar. The international expert RG Cooper - and the father of Stage-Gate® - brings you ahead of your competitors.

Trimming the fat is not enough!
Lean has been used in production for years. Now it's product development's turn. Leading companies cut development time by eliminating waste and reducing bureaucracy. It's not enough to trim the fat, however. The clever companies focus on profit improvements - on ways to develop impact new products. And most of all, they ensure that the steps to reduce wastage don't end up starving their projects and hurting profits.

An integrated toolkit with documented impact
The seminar gives you a coherent, integrated toolkit. The impact is proven through the studies of over 400 companies. In addition, Cooper illustrates his points by a wealth of real-life examples. You will be updated on the latest principles, including

Toyota's Principles and how to convert and apply them to your own development process.

The six most important causes of waste and how to eliminate them.

NexGen Stage-Gate®: a new simpler, faster and more flexible process.

The seven principles including customer focus, flexible definitions and working in spirals.

Resource management and Go/Kill decisions: reduce waiting time by establishing balance between projects and resources.

Test your company compares with the lean product development principles by using the ProBE Innovation Benchmarker by Robert G.
